Using your Standard Decoder

Both the 1110 and 1131 model decoders are DStv’s latest standard single view decoders that can be used as a standalone device or paired in an XtraView combination (the joining of two decoders and pay an excess fee for the second instead of the full amount).

Digital Picture quality	which comes as a standard feature on all the decoders
Widescreen Capable	which enables the customer to view their picture in different sizes
Letterbox and Cropped picture
Parental control	The user can block content on the device
Integrated TV Guide	all the movies scheduled to play in the next 8 days, you have access to
Interactive Capable	Sport scores at push of a button
TV Link compatible	a device that is added to the second environment that allows you to change channels
XtraView Capable	Pairing two decoders and haying an access fee of R65 instead of the full subscription
Automatic software Upgrades	a routine automatic software update that enhances the decoder functionality
Silicone security	smart cards and decoders are married to eliminate fraud
Soundtrack Options	allows you to watch certain programmes - particularly sport - in your language of choice
